Dates, phone numbers & search
How to send date-only fields and phone numbers, and how the q search parameter matches.
Date fields#
Send date-only fields, such as a due date or a visit date on a custom object, as a plain calendar date: "2026-10-18". Worxley stores it as that day and reads it back as 2026-10-18T00:00:00.000Z. Reminders and overdue checks then fall on the right day in your organization’s timezone.
A full timestamp sent to a date field is kept as the nearest calendar day: 2026-10-18T15:00:00Z becomes 19 October. Strip the time on your side. Timestamps such as createdAt and updatedAt are always UTC instants.
Phone numbers#
Send phone numbers in international format with the country code, for example +14155550132 or +447700900123. Contact details are encrypted at rest and matched exactly, so a consistent format is what makes duplicate detection and search find the same person.
Searching lists#
GET /leads?q=… and GET /accounts?q=… search the name (any part of it) and, when q is an email address or a phone number, look that up exactly instead. An exact email or phone lookup is instant on any number of records.
Custom object records#
GET /objects/{object}/records?q=… searches the record’s text fields. On objects with hundreds of thousands of records it can take a few seconds, so narrow it with stage where you can.
GET /leads?q=Rao&page=1&limit=25
GET /leads?q=asha.rao@example.com
GET /accounts?q=%2B14155550132
